Today marks one years of the death of actress Lauren Bacall (1924 -2014).
Betty Joan Perske Weinstein, known as Lauren Bacall (New York, September 16, 1924 – ibid., August 12, 2014) was an American actress and model.
He began his career in theater, and then began working in film. He participated in some 40 films, among which the classics of black cinema Have and Have Not (1944), The Big Sleep (1946), Dark Passage (1946) and Key Largo (1948) and other films of various genres such as How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) Designing Woman (1957), Harper, private investigator (1966), Murder on the Orient Express (1974) and The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996). His performances made her deserving of many awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Golden Globe and two Tony. For his career he received the honorary Oscar, and the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the Honorary César and Donostia.Es one of the great female myths of film history Award, the American Film Institute considers it one of the 20 female stars greatest of all time.
