Premiere of Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo

Originally shared by ****

The Alfred Hitchcock film, „Vertigo,” premiered on this day in 1958 in San Francisco, where the film was shot. It replaced „Citizen Kane” as the best film ever made in the 2012 British Film Institute’s Sight & Sound critics’ poll. A good day to watch the film, even though I think that „Rear Window” is much better.
