Harvey Eisenberg (11 February 1912 – 22 April 1965, USA) was an animation and comic-book artist.
He began working at MGM in the cartoon studio in the late 1930s. He did layouts for ‘Tom and Jerry’ cartoons under the supervision of Joe Barbera and William Hanna, and followed them to their own Hanna-Barbera studio.
Eisenberg and Barbera were partners in comics publisher Dearfield (1946–1951), producing “Foxy Fagan Comics”, “Junie Prom”, and other titles.
He is best known for his work from 1945 through 1965 at Dell and Western on many ‘Tom and Jerry’ comics and other characters such as ‘Yogi Bear’ and ‘The Flinstones’.
His son Jerry Eisenberg is also an artist, who has worked at Hanna-Barbera and Ruby-Spears.
