John Totleben (born 16 February 1958, USA) is an American illustrator working mostly in comics.
His first success in American comics, and still his best-known work, was as the inker of penciled art by Stephen R. Bissette for “The Saga of Swamp Thing” (DC Comics) when the series was being written and reinvented by Alan Moore.
Bissette and Totleben co-created and edited the horror anthology “Taboo” in 1988, best known as the original venue for the acclaimed graphic novel “From Hell”.
Totleben’s most ambitious comics project was with Moore again, on the third volume of “Miracleman”, which he pencilled and inked. It was collected in 1990 as “Miracleman: Olympus”.
