Octav Angheluţă was a Romanian painter.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, young Angheluţă earned his first recognition in 1929, at the Official Salon exhibition. After several study trips in the country and abroad participates in art exhibitions (Sofia, Helsinki, Venice, Moscow, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Berlin, Philadelphia), opening ten solo exhibitions over the five decades of painting and a retrospective exhibition, the last years of his activity.
