Today marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of Luciano Pavarotti, Italian operatic Tenor, member of “The Three Tenors” and one of the finest and most commercially successful tenors of all time.

Who would have thought, his wish was to be a football goalkeeper, he didn’t begin his studies in music until 19 and according to conductor Richard Bonynge he never learned to read music.

Please take a moment to listen to Luciano Pavarotti’s Last Public Performance at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony Torino 2006

(I challenge you to listen to a performance like this without a tear in your eye, just beautiful!)
