Octavian Angheluţă

Octav Angheluţă was a Romanian painter and teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, young Angheluţă earned his first recognition in 1929, at the Official Salon exhibition. Some named him the painter of children.
After several study trips in the country and abroad participates in art exhibitions (Sofia, Helsinki, Venice, Moscow, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Berlin, Philadelphia), opening ten solo exhibitions over the five decades of painting and a retrospective exhibition, the last years of his activity.
