Florica Cristoforeanu

16 May 1886, Râmnicu Sărat —1 March 1960, Rio de Janeiro

Florica Cristoforeanu was a Romanian singer of opera, operetta and lied. She studied piano from the age of 5 years, later take singing lessons and improves at the Conservatory „Giuseppe Verdi” in Milan.

She was a soloist in the Company Lyric Romanian, theater troupe Città di Milano, theater troupe Dal Verne in Milan, Teatro „Adriano” in Rome, Regio of Turin, Constanzi in Rome, Teatro „Colon” in Buenos Aires and, finally, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
